| ![]() Last month i got a problem with my monitor. Its blinking all the time for about 40 min to 1 hour and then it stops. I thought was my monitor's problem untill i plug it on my other pc (old) and worked perfect. I took it to a friend who fixing monitors and told me that the monitor worked fine on
his pc and didnt find any problem with it. Well obviously after that i thought it was my graphic card problem untill i pluged my old monitor to the pc and worked fine. Somehow the monitor with the pc dont work together fine, BUT it worked for 1,5 years and only the last month the monitor started
blinking. I ll give you some informations might help you. I really need any idea or opinion cause i am totally lost. My old pc: Nvidia Gforce 6200 256MB c.card, windows xp, amd cpu, 2GB ram (BOTH monitors works perfect here, no blinkings to my 19" monitor) If anyone had same problem or got any idea what might causing that please post. Its preaty weird why monitor workd fine for 1,5 years and only now got that blinking, also is weird why after 40m-1hour the blinking stops)

| ![]() The only thing you haven't mentioned is the refresh rate. Set your gfx resolution and refresh rate to the same as your monitor, if you haven't already done so. Force enable Vsync. --- Web developer, currently looking for graphic artists / designers.

| ![]() Klutz posted: (2nd Mar 2012, 11:25 am) my monitors resoloution (the one with problem) is 1440x900 and 60 hz. I enables Vsync and set that resoloution and refresh rate on pc. Well listen the results. On that resolution or higher the monitor blinks, at any resolution lower than 1440x900 works without blinking. Not sure whats wrong yet :(

Click for user manual, Scroll down to 'troubleshooting'. You may want to check that you have the exact drivers for your gfx card, and try another VGA cable. --- Web developer, currently looking for graphic artists / designers.

| ![]() "connected with VGA through VGA to DVI converter (thats the screen that blinks)" Thats probably your problem, I've had it happen before using those VGA->DVI converters. Just get a new one, they're really cheap. --- Eat shit, bro. I support Ephixa [http://ephixa.com/]. Fuck Skrillex, Sonny Moore is no more.

It dont seems the problem located neither to Vsync or refresh rate. It only stopes blinking when i lower the screen resolution. Someone adviced me to disable the graphic cardoutput sound, cause i dont use that sound. That didnt help either. Divine: That stupit converter is the only thing i didnt try to replace. And it will be the first i will try because untill today nothing seems to work. But i got a question here. If that is the problem, is it reasonable to work after some minutes? Its like it getting warm or something? And i usethe same converter to my old screen. Is it logic the converter act like that only on higher resolution? I dont know a lot about pc's thats why i appreciate both of you who try to help me. ![]()

| ![]() I bought a new DVI to VGA adaptor and the monitor still blinks. So if its not the drivers, its not the monitor, its not the craphic card, its not the cable, its not the adaptor, what the hell is going on? Anyway thanks for your replies, i dont see how i can fix that. Edit: 9/3/2012 |
