Ps3 is a death trap and a piece of shit. Ps3 just tacked on their Internet system and their game encryption. That is why psn has been hacked so many times. If they didn't make their service free then no one would buy a ps3 in the first place. That is why I prefer Xbox over ps3.

Ps3 is already better in terms of hardware, (I being a ps3 player myself) My xbox 360 died with in a year and currently my ps3 has lived since the first year they came out. (I can't remember how long ago.) Although the storage has become kind of annoying considering install data can be up to 4gbs (60gb hd in my ps3) So I tend to delete only the install data when I'm done with the game (save data is like 2mbs or so lol). But I love the blu-ray feature my ps3 has, and the smexy cell shade processor. And p.s from my study xbox live gets hacked quite often also, I guess that's why they have better security *cough cough* now please shut up about console wars. They both have their ups and downs, (those who own both would know that.) Good day sirs and madams. xD

I have had two of each:

I got first ps3 the day it came out and it got YLOD (Yellow Light Of Death) about 8 months ago, so replaced it with a ps3 slim
The best thing about ps3 is the XMB, it's always been so much simpler then the 360's interface was back before they updated it, but now it's about equal.

I got the first xbox 360, i think it was a 40GB version? I'm not exactly sure, but that got RROD (Red Rings of Death) about two years ago and took until this Christmas to get the new Slim 360 w/ Kinect
The best thing about 360 is the online feature itself, yes you have to pay for it but it's so worth it, everything runs much smoother and there's less people trying to 'hack' because if your account gets banned you gotta spend the money on a new one, so less 'noobs' are out 'hacking' compared tops3 where everyone messed with it, hell they fucked with psn itself multiple times. 

In the end it's all personal preference, especially if you're a sexually attached Microsoft-fag or Sony-fag and ignore anything about the system just because the name on the console.  ._.

X-Box 360 all the way...  Back when the first play station was out yea it was cool then PS2 came out, but X-box wasn't that good then... But now how X-box 360 got the win, X-box focused more on the RPG games and such.

Then also took over the 2K franchise and then GTA 4...

Maaaaannnnn x-box 360 hands down

As an owner of both I play my Xbox 360 more due to friends and online. Downside to that is that a membership costs money on Xbox 360. I also prefer the 360's original controller. Although I believe the ps3 has better graphics and better games, it isn't fun online. Therefore I choose Xbox 360!

Honestly, I own wii,ps3, and  xbox360. And I prefer ps3 over all of those systems. It's really fun (playing 2k11 on ps3 rite now)
