To save this turning into an agony aunt thread I'm just gonna summarize and say that my friend's told me that something'swrong and basically I can't do anything about it and they need to work through it on thier own and they don't know how long it's going to take and it's really stressing me out because I feel pretty useless.. So what do you guys do to relax / take your mind off of things ? Not really in the mood forminecraft tonight >_<

That varies from person to person. I recommend not thinking about it. Listen to some happy music. Do something you enjoy, but don't have to think a terrible lot about doing.

I would go for that option, but one does not have any at said moment in time. And I try not to think about it but that's always easier said than done xD..

Yep.

when I'm with my girlfriend, it takes my mind off of things and converts them to different things to worry about lol. Most of the time. Other times it's perfectly nice and relaxing as well.

In all honesty, there isn't alot you can do, but I'd you feel useless and you really want to help, go to him, ask him what's up and if he tells you to leave? Don't. Tell him you're going to stay there until he talks to you about his problem. If someone has a problem it's always good to talk about it. I have 3 friends that committed suicide due to problems and not talking about them.(not trying to say that your friend is going to commit suicide) basically just comfort him as much as you possibly can.

At one stage I tried to drink my awareness or my problems away. Didn't work out so great, it just added to my problems. Then I listened to Music. During the day and during the night, even while I was sleeping, and it helped alot. I also decided to fix my problems myself, say for example, a girl I liked hated me. I would give her no choice but to tell me why she hated me(well at least try) and then I would try my best to fix it. When music stopped working for me, I set to work on mapping. I figure it would take my mind off of things, and it did. It helped an awful lot. But then that stopped working and I ended up doing what I do now. I clear my mind, and draw. Nothing but draw pictures, color them in, whatever form of art you can think of, I do that. Im also starting to pixel, as Ananas is. As he said, it's lovely. I say it's beautiful, and somewhat extremely relaxing. I've also stuck to the music thing too, and whatever I'm doing (probably a mix of everything I've said) its working and I don't really have anymore problems!
