Idea's for EOSERV.
Well, at the moment, I only have 3 ideas, and I think they're kinda good :D
1. Make a mobile version of eoserv? I mean like... I'm on my mobile right now doing this stuff, and I'd rather be on an app or something doing it c:
2. Enable notifications? So like, you know who has commented on your post, who likes your post, who dislikes it, etc.
3. Enable adding friends :D? That way it will be easier to get to message them or look at they're details, and at what they do :3 (Map/Pixel/Code/etc.)
4. (AustinB) Add a delete message button.
5. (kodyt) Add a message button underneath the persons name.
6. Make a Jokes section in the forum so people can post their funny jokes? :D!!
7. (Dough) Fix the new post, reply post text box on chrome (the text is invisible)
8. Enable Tagging in posts..
9. Make an "Idea's" section in the forum so people can give opinions, or idea's that they have to add to the website/as a pixel/as a map/as a free-hand artist.
(I know that this is starting to sound like its turning it into Facebook, but tagging people in posts, the Notifications and the Mobile EOSERV can work out well, believe me)
If you have any other ideas, just put them in the comments, I'll add it to the post and give you the credit of the idea :) hope you like the idea's too xD

The app wont be made.. unless some one here makes it.
The like friend shit is gay.. if it gets added I'm dislike you all and will defriend anyone who adds me.
What I think would be cool would be a "message" button under the user image in the side post area. ---

as Sausage said, this isn't Facebook, it's EOSERV.
But I like the last idea.
my idea is, creating a message warning when you're leaving a page. Like when you're creating a topic, and you accidentally click a link, then it would say "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" or something, a few times I epicly failed by creating a super long guide and I accidentally
clicked a link, I was so pissed :/

Dude, think about it, it may not e Facebook but notifications can DEFFINATLY come in handy. What of you posted something a few days ago, and you thought everyone was done with it, so you ignore it and move on to a new topic, an someone goes onto the old topic, comments something that can be
extremely useful and you won't see it because you simply ignored the topic alltogether. Just a thought, but like I said, they can come in handy. ---

get out, this thread is excellent! :P Anyway! I think these ideas are great and some of these features wouldn't be too difficult to implement at all, I don't know how sausage has structured the forum but I would have thought on the iteration to display the posts you could just add the message
button in the avatar cell and make it link to /message/.$username or s/t :P But I do like the idea of notifications :) ---

Re: Idea's for EOSERV.
About the mobile version, I think we don't need it. Well, I think your browser can access Eoserv fine. And don't forget that it will be very expencive for Sausage to do this, he would need to make for all companys. (Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Apple, HTC, LG, etc..) I access Eoserv from my iphone
andit displays it just fine.
EDIT: But it would be pretty cool to have eoserv app on cellphone.
