I didn't see the old version of the website, but I like how it looks now.
Really simple, not overloaded with detail, and it looks clean.

For your navigation images, you should make the hover image in the same image file, and use coordinates in CSS that way there is no load delay when you use the navigation. Or use JS to preload the navigation images that aren't being used yet so there is flow.

I would of done it at the start but I really don't feel like putting them in the same file. I'll probably just preload them.
