Connecting to my server
I don't know where to put this, cause it may be a bit of everything. Other people can connect to my server with my domain game.servername.com, but I can't connect at all. I've had this problem for a while now, but I used to just use localhost, now that I am using a VPS I can no longer do that,
norcan I do the IP of the VPS. Is it client related? Or domain related? It has nothing to-do with my VPS because I had this problem before :P
Changing my IP nor going to another computer (my laptop) changed this problem ;c

Well, if you'd have this problem before you would've had a clue to figure out how to fix it..

What? I was just using localhost before? I didn't need to fix it then because it worked for others, but now I can't connect at all, please don't respond, you don't know what you're talking about, and you're just a troll trying to get lots of posts. Read the topic and understand before replying
please, sorry for being a douche but you're on my nerves.

Re: Connecting to my server
That makes no sense to be truly honest. When you were hosting the server not being able to connect to yourself using your external IP is normal. It's just how some ISP's work. Now not being able to connect to your VPS just makes no sense at all. Mainly because others can. Something is wrong but
like I said, makes no sense so I wouldn't know where to start.

Re: Connecting to my server
1st shut off your VPS and see if others can connect (most free vps have a limit)
2nd if they can't make sure your ports are forwarded.
3rd if that doesn't work try connecting with your direct IP
4th if that doesn't work post results. ---

Try cleaning the DNS server cache on your PC. On windows you must execute a simple command:
ipconfig -flushdns
