Re: SOPA
On my phone, now that it works lol. I agree with some points, but people who have committed suicide over things like that, have no better life, because that is all they do proposing a bad image for themselves, and they truly are crazy for doing such a thing, if there were suicides over it, Idoubt
there would be many, but they control of they die or not. It's not like the acts are in control of their life. They pull the trigger, hang the rope, drink the bleach, or whatever they decide to do. The acts wouldn't truly be at fault for that. This sounds a bit ridiculous, haha, it seems tobe such
a minor issue. But as I said not everything a lot of you people are talking about will be censored. A lot of the people are assuming or supplying others with ridiculous facts with false support. Why do companies such as good protest against this? Because they will lose a lawsuit if it'spassed. Why
do the people argue against this? Because they don't get their free music or illegal downloads, or think something else will be censored, which will end up to not be. These sources don't even need to be supported, the majority is common sense. How do you not figure the twin towers wasnot a
terrorist attack? Osama was a terrorist and he did intend an attack. Why else would it happen, if replying with difference please cite your sources, because wherever you have came across them are just more rumors. The us government doesn't tell us everything , but are here for safety andorder. The
only thing they are censoring are illegal things! People say it will handicap the Internet and such, but it is there to stop the stealing of what has been stolen. Which I find only important with bigger corporations. I have also stayed that countries such as China, North Korea, andpositively Russia
have similar rules. They are communist yes, and most of the worlds billionaires belong to China. But do you see their people arguing or fighting back? With such a big population compared to their government ? No, because they found out that most of their porn, memes, and other shitwasn't taken away.
As our people will too if the law is ever passed. The majority of people want their torrents, but I don't see a problem with those being limited, what I do think though that sites like eoserv might be seen here as in violation of the acts, but like mic said hopefully we have somedefense or
something that refrains from that. Now, if the acts are ever passed, people will find in the future, that not everything they think is will be going. Our population of people have been over dramatic about the subject, even others who aren't under the acts thinking that it will affectthem.
Edit: yes some memes may be taken away, but only it they are reported against, and either way they will spread faster than whoever the government employs can control.

Well, this is a reply I sent to a friend on MSN about the whole deal. It was kinda in the middle of our conversation about it, but yeah. I feel as though it's needed to be spoken here.
"Lol. What did I tell you? Anonymous is one of the groups of people I was talking about yesterday, sir. Not only groups of these people.. But there's people outside Anonymous who work solo. These solo workers know their power just as Anonymous does. They have been holding their power in
foraverylong time. SOPA and PIPA is the very thing they have been waiting for to use their power. If these two bills are passed, these people WILL strike. The government WILL NOT succeed in this attempt. In the end, it'll either be the
easyway, orthe violent way. There is no hard way. These people are too powerful for the government. It will be easy one way or another, but there's one way with violence, and one way without. If these two bills are passed as laws.. There will
notbeaUnited States government in the future. The government themselves would be run by other people. Don't get me wrong. The government has some pretty darn smart people in it, when it comes to the FBI and everything. However, no matter how smart these people can be, there's always
smarterpeople.TheseFBI people don't do everything. They are only smart in what they know. They are only smart in what they actually do. Once the people outside the government attack them, the government won't be able to do anything about
it.Thesepeopleoutside the government are 10 x smarter in these fields of hacking and everything else than the FBI is in their field of being able to stop these attacks. The attacks aren't going to stop, either. These bills will not
havesuccess. This iswhere everything goes down. This. Is the end."
Also. Further into the conversation.. I stated MEMEs not existing anymore.. What I stated this:
"Memes will die! Nooo! I will die..Dude..They're one of the last very few things that actually makes me laugh.. I've recently lost humor in pretty much almost anything now..
Taking away memes... Is like taking away my ability to laugh... Taking away my ability to laugh...Is like taking away my ability to be happy...Taking away my ability to be happy...Is like forcing me to kill myself... Forcing me to kill myself...Is like SOPA is going to be the
causeofworld-widesuicide..." Meaning a lot of people would actually possibly seriously kill themselves because of this act... JUST saying. If people actually kill themselves because they get banned on a game, then yeah. There's going to be a huge number of
suicidesfrominternetcensorship.
Do you have ANY idea how much information I actually have saved on Facebook? How much information people actually have saved on Youtube from their past? How much information Google, Yahoo,Ask,andmore search engines, are going to have to completely erase
from their databases if they stay in the U.S.? Do you have ANY idea how much destruction would actually come from SOPA & PIPA?
I leave with this. SOPA and PIPA will fall. Kthxbai.
Sorry, but I can't agree with this.
You're giving Anonymous way too much credit. I've scratched the tip of the iceberg of groups affiliated with Anonymous and couldn't wait to be rid of them. All I saw was a bunch of kids hell bent on destruction or abuse. Although collectively they hold an influence in supporting change
ontheweb, they don't often invoke it, and I find it very hard to believe that Anonymous will digitally remove the United States Government from power. They may be strong behind the keyboards and screens, but the government has shown in the past that they have no issue with coming in and
raidingyourhome to prove their point.
In addition, even if i'm mistaken and they do succeed, I wouldn't want to see anyone in the same class as Anonymous in any position of power on the global stage. That would be significantly more worrying than SOPA and PIPA combined.
I have to agree if a group such as Anonymous gained any kind of political power.. I do believe I would be more worried about our world then I already am. Don't get me wrong "anonymous" the idea sounds cool, some of the "members" have good intention but tbh I wouldn't want them running
mycountry.
@Mitch they could take away meme's that have to do with movie pictures an tv pictures due to it being copyrighted material.
WHO THE FUCKS ANONYMOUS Dxxx dont just ignore me!!

I'm not giving all of that credit to Anonymous and Anonymous only. I was stating even the people outside Anonymous who are just as powerful would be inside the war. I'm not exactly saying the Government will be completely wiped from the map or anything. There's always going to be some type of
government. I'm just saying the current one we have now will not be who it is afterwards. They will fall along with SOPA and PIPA, and a new group of people would rise to be the new Government. Not particularly Anonymous.
Although, I sliiiightly disagree about if Anonymous were to take the position of our Government (Which will NOT happen).. I personally believe in a lot of the things they have said and believe in. Lol, besides. They wouldn't be Anonymous if they were the government. They'd be known. ;D
Hmm. How about we all just agree to disagree or agree to agree, depending on whomever's opinons are being said?
I'm sure we ALL agree on one thing.. Stop SOPA and PIPA. Support PPTA!! ;D

And like I said, we shall agree to disagree with certain things/people, just as we should agree with certain points each other has made. :b
Edit: Sorry about not answering ya Moonie. xD I slightly got too caught up in typing these really long walls of text that I forgot to mention who Anonymous is.

Yeah I watched it earlier when Undead sent the link to me last night. Gotta say. The way they changed up their ending sounds pretty awesome. Going from "Expect us." to "You should have expected us."

Re: SOPA
Hello everyone, I would post a link to this, but am on my phone again. Congratulations to everyone using the u.s. Internet services. Yesterday the ratio of the number of supporters to the number of opponents was very horrific. Today the numbers have turned around after debate, and the number of
supporters will continue to dwindle until the acts are decided over on the 24th. On the 18th there were 89 supporters of the acts to 31 opponents. Today that ratio has turned around to more decided voters, and a few supporters have turned sides. The ratio is now 65 supporters to 101 opponents. This
is very good, as things were looking pretty bad before. I doubt the acts will be passed now, but there has always been a few surprises about history. Anyways, I thought this is very interesting news, and people should be less concerned about it. Yesterday my Facebook was blown up with statuses of
petitions and worry of the subject. We will see how thIngs turn out about the progress of the acts tomorrow. Maybe I will provide another update of things get interesting enough.
