Don't worry about it. We created this thread here to see if anyone would give us ideas outside of the typical gaming suggestions based on ideas from users that have other interests than just games. Something completely new and different is what we were aiming for, the last thing we wantto
do is spin-off from EOSERV and end up confined to the Endless Online audience (it hasn't provided to be very successful in the past). We'll have to take this elsewhere for further consideration, I think.
Well what ever it is when you have it up an running I'd love to see it. Also good idea not having it be endless related, but other gaming(console/pc online
gaming) community type website would still be interesting. But if its not going to be gaming related at all I'd still like to see what you come up with, good luck on
this project!

If it's a gaming community, you should have a bunch of different gaming sections. o.o Like MMOs, RPGs, MMORPGs, 3rd Person Shooters, 1st Person Shooters. I dunno. Just an idea.

It will not be a gaming community.
We wanted to attract a target audience of perhaps say... 18-32 male and female, but leave the door open for all ages. Gaming communities, as seen by EOSERV and a number of others, can pull all ages but
tend to attract a user base of ages 13-18 and all predominantly male.

Eh you got a good point there. You could always try an maybe get one of those point2shop kind of sites, but make it have a social networking aspect to it. Not sure if your interested in doing that kind of site or not. ---

Alright, so here's an idea.
We write articles. They can be commentary, opinion or discussion pieces. Nothing in particular, whatever the writer wants to write on any given week is the topic and whatever mood the writer is in comes into play. Nothing is off-limits, controversial topics are permitted and the community would
accept that fact. Of course it would have to be legal, otherwise we risk losing the website completely. As such, all articles are submitted to the editor for checking and publishing. Once they're published, the article is open for discussion on the discussion forums, which is an integrated
component of the site.
That's the basics of it anyway.
If, after that, we were to decide that the writers can contribute to a podcast or YouTube video if they wish, the website would be ready to handle these kinds of submissions.
The overall aim is to create a website where the writers can express themselves however they like, whenever they like, and the readers can get in touch with the writers and interact with them easily. All the while the visits to both the site and the forum would generate the necessary ad revenue
we need to fund the project and the writers themselves.

Indeed that is a good idea Michael, I'm sure people would enjoy such a website. Especially the controversial aspect of it, as I seem to find more and more people that are interested
in controversial matters. I hope it goes well with you.
