| ![]() Projectile Spells. It would be Incredibly hacky, but you would just play an effect over a few tiles over time, and have some sort of damage applied to target if the effect hits him/her. It would add some nice features to PK, instead of the point and click bullshit. It would also I think be really simple to do, If I ever get bored I'll do it haha. --- Love you too.

| ![]() Kalandra could do this kind of thing. I basically played a map effect in the direction you where facing until it hit an object. Fairly easy to edit your EOSERV servers to add this to your current ranged weapons. Goodidea! The packet to play a special effect on an arbitrary tile is as follows (don't know if EOSERV has this): ID: PACKET_EFFECT, PACKET_AGREE --- http://sordie.co.uk http://twitter.com/@SordieEO

| ![]() i would like to see the passive skill boxes in the client be used for something. ----or----- a more advanced core system. make the server a core,,,,,that another"addon" makes all choices. kind of like. taken alot of the hard coded,"glitch shit" out of the core and let us use the addon to do dirrect input, or even injected input! ya im sounding like im on some space dust. but have been tryng this with kalandra and meow. i suck at c++ so tryng to do itwith code parts i know. a server addon the reads from config/database/inix then adds direct input to server. or injected. i think would open up more things for servers. or even the little minigames. "makeng them have been a blast"

| ![]() @Sordie Woah. You made good time! I was thinking about using the timers in eoserv to have a fireball move across the screen. You know with a maximum range, projectile speed etc. You could make a dodgeball minigame with that sorta thing. Have people spawn on two sides, throwing fireballs at them. Have items represent dodgeballs that are consumed when you press ctrl. Nice pics haha. --- Love you too.

| ![]() This "effect on tile" packet has also been used in Kalandra to create "weather", although this was dropped due to the massive amounts of lag it created =P Keep the ideas coming! --- http://sordie.co.uk http://twitter.com/@SordieEO

| ![]() A weather idea is kinda interesting, It just doesn't look too nice in my opinion. Maybe if you would replace the effect with your own but the idea is quite nice. Maybe thunder on some maps with damage if u randomly get hit

| ![]() A intro video or a video that plays after you enter a certain warp or make anewcharacter.Since people do not got put a sigh at first for people just to ignore when they took the time to write it. You can just make a intro video so people cant ignore it. Or A more advance music system when a certain song plays when fighting a certain level monster... just like skyrim kind cause epic music plays in battles. Or A you get your own house and you can breed animals/monsters to get drops you want, instead walking thousand miles get them you can spend some coins to buy a male and female and wait a little and kill the baby for drops or mother or father blah blah. Or You can get a certain item that lets you set up a store so you don't got spend meanness hours trying to sell things to people you just got set one up and go afk more hour or so and come back and hope they sold to another player.

| ![]() A message inbox system! I am almost done with the functions but I am stuck on the most important one, messaging an offline character! functions here

| ![]() insomniac posted: (3rd Dec 2011, 12:18 am) As it happens offline character interaction is one thing I've been thinking about. If you have a namespace system like Kalandra did where you can go "=PlayerName.Warp(10,10)" Why not let do that to offline players. PM's could easily be stacked for offline players and presented using the noticeboard interface. Nice idea +1 This is the kind of reply I'm fishing for... Keep them coming! --- http://sordie.co.uk http://twitter.com/@SordieEO

| ![]() group quests where it requires more than 1 person to take it on and then when your in a group you can only go so far apart before you get kicked out of "range" and have global be limited to a few maps inbetween of each other

| ![]() I know it would take a lot of work and I doubt I will ever see it implemented anywhere, but an idea I've always wanted was a change of the game-screen, removing the half-screen inventory/chat system/spells and so on and making it a full screen game with perhaps small icons underneath theExitgamesign when you hover over them come up with what they are like Inventory, Skill list instead of spells as I think learning a spell can be considered a skill can't it. The chat system can have an icon perhaps on the left hand side which you you can minimize therefor maximizing the actual game functions. It would be nice to actually see EO as a game rather than what I've always considered it to more be like, a chat room/game. Cosmetic wear to weapons and armors would be good, the weaker items for instance start off on a lower overall health 40/40, up to the best item in game starts off on 90/90, you could have a quest of some sorts to upgrade the overall wear limit up to 10 extra points. when the item's under 15 points, it loses half of it's stats, under 5 it loses a futher half and then when it reaches 0 it's useless, no stats and can't be fixed. If you have armor/weapons with 1 or more wear points, for example, 39/65, you can take it to a blacksmith and get it repaired for a fee, depending on how good the armor/weapon is and how damaged it is. Maybe an option also to have everything on you repaired, for a hefty fee, a lot repair perhaps. I dislike the idea of EO only having one drop at maximum, so I was thinking about perhaps if someone made a small chest gfx, and renamed said chest box as 'Loot box' when you open it, it opens like a chest, and inside it it stores multiple drops, so for example from the npc Silver wolf, the loot box opens up and contains, 2 Silver wolf fang, 150 Gold, 1 Wolf claw, and this could be great for generating items on a well structured craft focused game or something similar. Something else I liked would be perhaps a booster cards for items, for example when you kill for example a silver wolf, it drops the item 'Silver wolf card' and I know this also may be a very tricky one to imply, as it'd need a big change, but each card is attachable to a certain part of gear, for example, Silver wolf card is attachable on the weapon slot, as oppose to Black bear card which is attachable to the armor slot, so each weapon/armor and if you want to go crazy, you can implement it for gloves/boots and hats too, each one can hold 1 slot, but if you take it to a blacksmith's along with certain rare ingredients, he can make a second slot in it. so Silver wolf card is a fairly decent booster card adding 20HP, 3-3 damage, 3 def, 3 eva that's going by main EO's stats, whereas Dragon card is very strong, adding 25hp, 5-7 damage, 5 def, 5 eva, 5 con. the npc's that have booster cards can only drop their own cards, none others, but if you think about adding the loot box system, even though the best booster cards would be a rare drop, having multiple drops would make up for that. They're some of the ideas I'd love to see implemented in a EO, without a new client I know most of those probably aren't possible (but I won't say definately as I don't know for sure)
