Refer to my post about how a DDoS works. If you accused him of being a part of a DDoS then you have already releaved him of blame.

Why is just 40Mb of log "bulking up" and why is this making your OS freeze up? This has little to do with eoserv being fragile and more to do with how badly unstable your system is.

Again, not really surprising if you understand how a DDoS works.

This is pretty irrelivent and makes very little sense. You should probably look up some of the terms you use before posting them.

i never told him he ddos'ed,  I told him BU was getting ddosed and he was one of the ip's that spammed...

it's a vps, under attack, using remote control, it's crap

eoserv.exe causes the vps to freeze, eoserv.exe can't handle the 40MB errorlog... eoserv.exe caused the OS to crap out

I just wanted to point out something here in regards to the "bulked up" error.log:

## LogErr (string)
# Filename to log errors
# Use - for console output    <-------- Anyone ever read this line? Better yet, does anyone ever read the config?
LogErr = error.log   <-------  CHANGE "error.log" TO "-"  to display errors in the console window rather than error.log

Also, you can pretty much go through the EOSERV source code and edit the default methods of "warning" and "error" outputs, or put in a few more config options where needed to show warnings or errors that are relevant to you.

This began because someone's computer was being used to spam BU, and then a series of misunderstandings from both parties. Right?

Just the fact that the server was mentioned doesn't make this topic about the server. It's people going off-topic to express their (Often uninformed and unrelated) opinions that leads to this kind of thing. Let's talk about what we're talking about people. -_-'
