| ![]() Some details would be helpful... Can you login locally? What does it say in the console window? How do you "know" you port forwarded correctly? --- http://sordie.co.uk http://twitter.com/@SordieEO

| ![]() I found the problem My Ip adress changed, Don't ask how it just did.

| ![]() Your external IP or internal IP? External IP: You most likely have a dynamic IP address. A lot of residential ISP's have them. Internal IP: DHCP assigned you a different IP address. Configure your NIC to use a static configuration.

| ![]() Well my Ip adress was 192.168.0.5 and changed to 192.168.0.4 im not sure if it is extrnal or internal. I think internal but I could be wrong.

| ![]() Mhm. Your internal IP. Your router uses DHCP to assign IP's to your computers on your internal network. I don't use DHCP at all. I find it very annoying. All of my computers and servers are assigned static IPs. Sordie however has a different set up. Her wired connections are static and wireless clients use DHCP. You're using DHCP for everything from what I understand. It's fine like that if you wish. It may do that every once in a while though. If you are wanting to set up a static IP, This will probably help: http://www.homenethelp.com/web/howto/static-ip-address.asp Although, for the DNS servers, I would personally recommend you either use 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.4 or
208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 The first set is Level3's DNS servers and the second set is OpenDNS. I have them set up on different computers, I like both really. OpenDNS has a sorta cool "debug" tool for nameserver issues which comes in handy for me. They update MUCH faster than most ISP's
servers.
