You will most likely end up with a shitty pixel because when you save it in pixlr, paint.net it doesnt go in 24 bmp so you have to re save in paint which makes it into 24 bitmap which will make it look like complete shit. He did those effects by shading.. It's called dithering bro.
did u know what is PNG or JPG?
Are you an idiot? Endless-online only accepts 24 bitmap files.
export to PNG, open in paint.net and then save as bitmap, newbie
You dont get it do you? When you save like that it wont get in 24 bit bitmap. You need to pixel in a program that saves in 24 bit bitmap. And you actually need to PIXEL the thing. ---
stay tuned.

Personally I like ms paint. :)
Anyways... back on topic: I think it looks pretty good. I redid a little version of it to show you how I would've shaded it and used more realistic colors:

Re: My first sprite
That was a pretty random arguement.
Anyway. I made it in MSPaint and then set the transparent background in Photoshop because i forgot that paint can't do that :/.
Here's something new that i started about 5 mins ago. It's a dead tree outline.

Not too sure about the left branch.

Much better :D
Also i used the handle and colours that Caleb used and redrew the blade, a gradient doesn't look right on a blade if you take it out.
