Hi, I've recently been seing many MapEdit problems. So now when people make new topics about it you can give them this link!

If you're having troubles downloading it, it's probably because you don't have WinRar. So you can download WinRar Here. Once you've downloaded it make a new folder on your desktop and extract all the files to it. The next step you're going to dois put GFX in the GFX folder which is needed for the Map Editor to load objects, tiles, etc.

Now, if you're having troubles opening it still, even if it still doesn't work then you'll need to download a new video card thing that'll allow you to open up the file. You can download it here:

AMD

I suggest NVIDIA for most of you because it worked for my Windows XP and Windows 7. If it still doesn't work try AMD. After following all of these steps and it still doesn't work? Well I'm sorry because I can't help, you either have a crappy old computer, or there's something wrong with yourcomputer and it can't open files with out them not responding like I have. Anyways hope it helped.
