I was wondering how you would make a website using no-ip.com example http://example.no-ip.org/(servername)

Anyone know how? And no hi-jacking this topic or fucking trolling...

Download WAMP, and then once it's portforwarded then you can type in your No-IP in the browser and it will go to your htdocs >> index.php/index.html. Btw, you'll need to make a website from HTML or PHP. So don't be thinking you can put your webs.com website there.

Yeah I guess it could to some people :P , but I know Chow, he knows how to setup a no-ip domain . I think he wants the domain for the website though which would require WAMP.

if he's set up a website with webs.com .. he can use the NO-IP website to redirect to it..

This is the kind of shit that should be placed in the wiki as a guide.

Asking to make a site with no-ip means you want to host it on your pc. So as people said you need wamp server or xamp or apache, choose what it fits best to you. I had a site with wamp.

Then you need a site. You can create one with html code or php code. If you dont know how to do that, then google "make your own site on php" or " php commands" etc. You will see some very simple guides on how to write a site. You put your site files inside www directory (for wamp). To test your site just open with your browser that: 127.0.0.1 should open but only you will be able to see the site.

To connect the site with your no-ip address (http://myexamplesite.no-ip.com for example) you need the tool no-ip duc that you download from no-ip. That tool redirect your pc's ip to your ip address. So with no-ip duc running, wamp server running and port 80 been portforwarded, all people should be able to connect to your site by clicking your ip address (http://myexamplesite.no-ip.com for example)

I think you can host your site files to no-ip instead of your pc but thats not free. I hope i helped you a bit.

no he doesnt have to make a site use no-ip, he could just use a standard no-ip dns redirect... using a basic webs.com or any template based website maker.
