You should make it so if a post has a certain number of -'s it gets deleted. :P Like, if someone's spamming, and a moderator's not on, it could get deleted by a certain number of -'s.

The things is, there's some immature little 5 year old's on this forum that will -1 you even if you're post is brilliant.

Erm not really if someone was raging at you and they started -1'ing you would you be pissed at them for ruining your rep? But its your opinion and i respect that.

My point, which the two people who docked my rep probably didn't get, is that if the immature people arguing about shit care at all about rep, they'll stop flaming and flame-baiting so much because they don't want the negative rep points.  If you've got -1000 rep and all you do is flame/flame-bait people and start shit, people will notice and start ignoring you or down-voting all your posts, good or bad.  I don't know about you guys, but while I don't give too much of a damn about rep, I also wouldn't want to be the not-so-proud owner of an account with a large negative reputation.  I don't use alts on forums, so whatever my rep is at a given point, it's what I've earned.  Or what people feel I've earned, I should say.

With great power comes great responsibility.  Use it or abuse it - it's up to you.

Another use for rep points for the 1337 or "Pro" user:  If you agree with a post, but don't wanna bump the topic or flood it further, just +1 it.  Some topics (like that iSnow topic...really, guys? :/ ) are probably better off dying, so just up-vote someone who says "(opinion), but this topic is pointless, right...?".  Rep points for cool people and topics that need to die can die off just fine.  I think that's a win-win for everyone there because it serves a useful function in addition to a social one.

Doubt it will end wars because it doesn't really effect you to much, an of course ppl will abuse it.. I was at + 6 now down to what +2? lols

But it gives the community some thing else to do.
