|
| ![]() Why would you ask an Endless Online forum that's not even as active as a thousand other forums about the XBOX 360, also you could've easily used YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnXQD68LRy4 I once had this while trying to jailbreak or whatever it's called, I actually forget, but something like that haha. I just had to fix the things that didn't look right :P

| ![]() You can send it back to the company and get it fixed, but it'll cost. Or you can fix it yourself;
|
| ![]() The microsoft/ps companies have no clue what their doing, they manufactor their game stations without heating the motherboards hot enough. Itd be pointless to send it back to the company because they will just mess it up more. I had a profression fix my ps3 for 60 bucks in 20 minutes. It now works
perfect. The only problem was that he was in the hood, and i do mean the hood. The speed bumps were called speed humps and his house had no door. XD --- Andrewbob - I would be on the fucking copter of rofls Programmer, Web Developer, and Graphics Designer

| ![]() The ring of death you mean. You got to buy an there xbox or you might be lucky to get it fixed it all matters how bad it is.

| ![]() RRODs are usually caused by the solder on your motherboard literally melting and refusing to create a bad circuit (because of console overheating). When my console RROD'd a year ago I called MS and they took it and fixed it and I had it back in 3 weeks. It still works today. Of course mine was under warranty...I think MS would be the best way to go, even if they charge monies. I believe the way they fix it is with an "X-Clamp" or something like that to distribute the heat from the GPU properly so its not melting their shit-poor excuse for solder. Plus they clean out all the dust and random shit that gets sucked into your console. Investing in a newer generation ox xbox isn't a bad idea either - what they lack in HD space they make up for in speed, durability, built in wireless, and way less hardware malfunctions such as RRODs (at least so far). --- class EOSERV { Programmer | Oldbie Open source EO Client: https://github.com/ethanmoffat/EndlessClient };

| ![]() Note: When and if you do get it fixed buy an external fan http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/3257063/Xbox-360-Cooling-Fan/Product.html --- I am an alien and not crazy!

| ![]() I heard for a while that if you bought your xbox when they 1st came out you can have them fix it for free, but that might just be a rumor wouldn't hurt to call em. On another note, I bought my xbox when they 1st came out an it finnally shit out on me.. the eye fell off the track xD simple fix but still it does it constantly. --- ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)CTronic.org I'm Nutso. | ![]() Microsoft know exactly what they are doing, the cause of red rings, is a soder finally melting and letting go due to the xbox being to hot. If you have a warranty still they'll take it. My advise to you is to simply, sell your xbox and buy the Xbox Slim. It's got no red rings no matter how hot it gets. It's wicked. I've had since they came out.
