Damn... I'll miss ya SB... One of the names that I can remember back too eohax days is now leaving.. so sad :(.

Well good luck man, hope what ever endeavor you go onto will become a success!

One of my fondest memories from EOHax will always be the day we disabled the forum and replaced it with a mock government agency page, and actually had everyone believe it. It was cruel, but it was an excellent prank considering we didn't expect it to work.

We had a number of notable events too, the Armagetron meetings being one of them. The Skype Meet was a more recent successful event that resulted in possibly my best week in the history of this community.

I don't feel like it, but i'm often told i'm practically part of the furniture in the circles of EOSERV and EOHax, that it would be hard to imagine the place in the same way without me around. Thanks to everyone that has offered those words of support, when I was on the staff and even after Istepped down. You may be pleased to know that although I wish to retire from EOSERV, it is unlikely that I will retire from the #eohax IRC channel entirely (it still plays an integral part in my future plans) so the spirit will still run within this place, even though I won't actually behere.

I still believe i'm on track to launch a number of new projects online once I have my offline side of things sorted out, notably finances that will allow me to possibly start a forum idea I have had in mind, not to mention the radio station idea we talked about. You never know.

You do know i was planning a radio station for project sanctum via an ingame streaming music player from a website where people who are on my team can dj, it was an idea at one point and will probably see a resurgence once i get my vps and we get all the stuff together for a public release. imac we need to talk some more or something. remember the best part of stuff is never behind you its the potential right in front of you its going to be amazing what people can accomplish together

What an attention-whore making a topic for this :P

And, when I actually do read your 3-paragraph replies thinking there might be something interesting in them, I just end up disappointed and angry that it was just a 3-paragraph saying that could be said in a sentence.

EOSERV forums are becoming dull to me as well. I am spending less and less time on the computer, and the time that I actually spend on the computer, is mostly IRC and working on my client. I doubt I'll ever leave the #eohax IRC channel ever officially. I might go away for awhile, but hopefully I always visit it from time to time.

I feel this will happen to everyone who visits this frequently. There will always be people that quit, and keep coming on after ever once and awhile, even when something should happen to shut EOSERV down, someone will prolly revive it, make a new SLN/etc, or the private servers just stay up and start their own community. With some of the members on here, they prolly would start some free forums shit just relating to eoserv.

Yeah I know, I'm using Ubuntu a lot more than Vista now on my computer and I usually don't leave IRC running on Ubuntu. Plus, I'm just not on that much anymore with school, homework, job, and friends.

I intended to take this to a professional level, which means royalties, full licensing and a commercial broadcast model, iTunes syndication... and eventually move into commercial radio for real. My ideas will differ from yours, but it's worth discussing, so i'm open to new ideas.

I'm not prepared to take on those responsibilities yet though. I have been with EOHax/EOSERV for 5 years and only taken very minor breaks from it in that time frame. It will be a very strange feeling to no longer have this very large part of my life be around anymore, but it's something that has to happen sooner or later and the time feels right.

Well if you do get those idea's of yours off the ground an running I hope we at eoserv get a heads up about them! ;D

You will, i'm almost certain of it.

On that note, I guess it's time. I may have to log in over the next couple of days to tie up some loose ends on the system-side, but the post/reply cessation will happen now, first and foremost.

So take care EOSERV, and best wishes.

Well, I don't really know you but, I know you've contributed so much stuff to EOserv. Also, Sordie is right. It's hard to quit EO. I tried to quit a while ago but, I just keep coming back. It's just addicting. Anyways, I hope you have a wonderful life and meet some other awesome people besides us. Also, hopefully start a family someday?
