actually, I have an appointment at the dentist later this week, I dont have enough to get much done, but by yanking this tooth I saved $100 to use on further issues. that one was a real bitch, extremely painful. it was so loose in the socket it rattled, and an air pocket had formed beneath it.

for those commenting about how nasty it looks:

this is what happens when you cant afford a regular dentist. the tooth itself is sound, with only 1 cavity beginning to form. it's the plaque buildup that  causes this, which is why you are supposed to have twice yearly cleanings. once the plaque starts forming below the gum line its only a matter of time.

that would be enough to get the rest of mine pulled.. Ive been suffering with this for years. Ive lost 22 teeth, 19 of them in the last 18 months, of those 19 I had to extract 15 myself. if a friend from another site hadn't have sent me money it would have been 19/19.

very long term  really, Ive only been to the dentist twice since 2000, and the problem started well before then

it sucks to be poor, when you are poor you have to let things slide until they become unbearable. and and before anyone says the ER has to see you, yes they do,but with dental issues  they give you a tylenol and a referral to a dentist(who you had better have cash up front for) and a boot out the door

I actually know exactly how it feels, I just got medical not to long ago.. up until that point I had to deal with it my self or go to the ER and the ER isn't cheap... and all they do is dope u up run some test and send you on your way... America's health plan sucks horribly.

the plan is pretty much hurry up and die quickly one the have all your money
end of life care is even worse as someone entering assisted care facilities under medicaide cant have more than $2k in assets, so what happens is grandma loses the house grandad built to the nursing home instead of being able to pass it to the kids.
