just wondering if anyone has used this,and did i get a deal at $70. and  any newb tips for me on picking up on the basic's. would be great.

I havnt used it, but if i were you, i woulda just got the free express editition, which i did and have been happy with since then :D

I get it for free through my school. I'd say $70 is a pretty good deal if you don't have any way to get it for free. Visual Studio is easily the best IDE for Windows. I don't really have any tips for you but I must say if you are programming and get stuck with a logic error, use the debugger. A huge reason visual studio is so great is because of the debugger itself.
