I agree with jasper on that part. Pixel artists have no reason to become a mod. How would being a good pixeler help you become a mod? The only people thatshould become a mod are ones that :
  1. Have common sense
  2. Are decently active on these forums
  3. Have been here for a while
  4. Can effectively handle a situation where action upon a user is needed
  5. (Optional?) Most of our mods have a years or more of programming

I've actually wondered why we haven't had a pixel artist mod myself. I mean, when it comes to modding, it makes no difference whether you have an artistic background or a coding background, as long as you know the rules needed to be enforced and have plenty of information to input on relevant topics.

Mods can't really add too much to the artist's section if they don't have significant background in that area, however they cover the remaining areas/sections perfectly.

Imo, it'd be nice to have one pixel artist mod. Aha. But that's just my two cents, it doesn't matter either way.

As watchdog you could approve and deny guest posts, and basically see what mods did (Moving, deleting, etc).
Because this was rather pointless, people as watchdog got demoted.

As far as I know, only me and Syran were watchdogs back then.

Basicially their people with no life and make sure mods arent abusing power so basically we need people who are on forums alot and they see what their doing with their power and why
but if a watchdog caught a mod breaking a rule I guess he would tell sausage or something
Lol perfect job for a spammer
EX: Me =P

Basically people with no life? You can still have a life, but instead of spamming the forums (like you), you actually had a purpose on this community.
Mostly people that atleast contributed something to this community. (Instead of useless spamming etc).

I contributed, Jerk =/
Name one thing then, All I see is two -1's on

It doesn't matter what the biggest topic is, there used to be a topic with almost 100 pages. Why would he get a + rating? I'm not sure why they don't give + ratings for revisions. But it should stay like that in less you are releasing guides on how to add specific coding to your server.

Plus, even if you did get +'s for revisions... Hollow wouldn't deserve one because he's to much of a pussy to share the source. It's not even that good . I have the 2.9 source myself. I get like 100 warnings compiling it.

If it was an open source, maybe it should get a rating due to all the features to use for themselfs;)

Warning's doesn't mean the code is shit. If the code doesn't work or is buggy, then it's shit. Hell, I'm sure I could get rid of all the warnings in an hour at tops. It's just simple forgotten shit, that won't affect your code.

I think what that one guy meant was that Hollow contributes to this community even though he has a shitty rating. The rating is just to warn you guys about what you're doing wrong on the forums and that you should be aware of it next time.

I positively rate posts that I think are useful, and yes, I do think Hollow's revisions are useful. I could do better, but hey, he wants to hack in all the stuff noobs want. When I log on to the forums, I look at the most recent actions and just view a few topics, I probably ended up missing his post and never have positively rated him. He probably does deserve it, but big deal, the ratings aren't that important anyways.
