Re: Ur eoserv goal?
My goal is to try and help give as much help to the EOSERV community as possible, and maybe try to release an application of some description that the community can actually use which could be interesting :P ---

Re: Ur eoserv goal?
I think I have accomplished my goal with EOSERV. My only 'goal' here is to moderate and maybe someday be a an administrator. My goal when first starting with EOSERV would've been to learn how to code and to one day finish EOSERV or release something that made me famous. I've accomplished all I
can with coding with EOSERV; it bores me now and so I move on.
Hollow: I never read any books either, EOSERV helped me accomplish to learn C++ easily. Maybe one day you can follow in my tracks and move on from EOSERV :P
But, I would advise reading guides and trying to expand your knowledge in C++ everyday. Hell, Sausage usually references me to a new thing every time I run across a problem.
For example:
Me: Fuck, I need a way to store a Operator enum and a double inside a queue.
Sausage: boost::variant<Operator, double>
Then I get referenced there and now I'm going to go through and look at all the boost stuff to see if I can't find something really useful.

Re: Ur eoserv goal?
My eoserv goal when I started was to put my own server online so I could make endlessonline how I wanted it. I had no clue what I was going to have to learn to do so, I never thought I would join the forum learn c++,pixling, map and pub editing or even care about player numbers, server drama
etc.
Now I keep wanting more and more features in my server so.
1 goal is learning more/better coding techniques
2 building a custom client.
3 helping and learning from people.
4 take everything Ive learned here on eoserv and apply it in my own game's and apps

I guess my goal is to improve my own artistic abilities and to troll stupid people on occasion. Progress has been made on both. ---

Re: Ur eoserv goal?
My goal on these forums is to hopefully give out some useful advice to developing skills in pixel art (And simple questions with eoserv and seose, but I'm no coder.) And also to bash art thieves back into their dark caves. =P ---

My goal has always been to have a 100% custom server.
I'm a pro procrastinator though, so will probably never be achieved. haha
