Also some softwares can go outdated quickly

Most things ive gotten off of youtube has viruses.  Probably people attempting to spread there bots for their botnet or something.  If it requires u to download a file do the following;

• Check the user comments.  If there all like "Virus dont download" or something close to that its possible its just a virus.
• Check the videos like/dislike counter.
