I would like to let people know that Master from Eo-Flash Admin server has stolen 2 custom maps and All custom items from Eo-Magic Class Wars...All these were made by James and now Master is claiming responsibility for them as he has no skills of his own..i know that 2 maps may not seem alot but he is claiming that work when he never even lifted a finger...i dont think this is acceptable and i would like to warn all servers out there that he could be after yours next

Yes, I agree. I joined today and i saw that eo-flash had stolen the starter map and church. (Both custom maps) of eo-magic. Also, when i went to buy an item i saw that eo-flash had all of the custom items that eo-magic had in there server. This is uncalled forand truly ignorent. I would like to warnthe other servers aswell that there is a immature kid on the loose and server owners should beware of this problem because they could be next.

They're both fail servers so who cares? I doubt this "James" kid made it himself.

Once again someone trolls about theft. You're whole server, along with every private server is commiting theft. The sprites and gfx belong solely to the original EO team and Layered Tech. Under no circumstance were you allowed to use them. Simply put:

You don't own the gfx. You don't own the original game. You don't own anything that made it.

You can't tweak something slightly and call it yours. In this case you think a few maps and some items make it YOUR server, when in reality it belongs to Vult-r.

Even if you tweak the maps, they are not yours cause the graphics are not yours. Heck even work stava does for EE is not his. Unless you spend big bucks and have a name like Apple or Disney you cannot call something yours. Someone out there is going to steal it, say its theirs, or just use it without your permission. 

I don't find it wrong to use someone elses work as long as you give that person full credit. Along with making your server closed registration.

I think its bunk taking your maps but, it happens all the time from the start of endless online emulators weve been using their client,gfx,maps and a borrowed source codes so suck it up, or recreate that whole loop and make it your own then, its rightfully yours and I feel you have the right to take action. I have had my maps taken, gfx used, codes claimed as original work and I only bitched for a second then figured out a way there is ways to protect your server from shit like this, I might be wrong but check your config for

and if your worried about other stuff like gfx find a way to compress them <-? "not sure if compress is the right word" so people cant take your work!

Ok so let me get this straight,from what i heard means i can steal everybody's Art work and map work that you have worked so hard on and take absolutely all the credit for it and you are saying you would be all cool about that yeah?(not going to because i have respect but put yourself in that dilemma and go over what u just said...still stand by it?)

Technically yes you can however you arent going to get many players on your server. Also, If Vult-r and Layered Tech got up off their asses and decided to sue everyone who has created a private server, well you would be like everyone else, screwed.
