| ![]() To answer the question, Windows should be adjusting the file automatically. Whenever mine gets too low, I get an adjustment notice popup balloon in my system tray. --- Wish upon a star!

Virtual memory is temporary, it is known as the paging file on your hdd, and it is used when you have an insufficient amount of free/inactive ram available.
