Made a partition and i am going to install ubuntu?

What version are you installing? And are you planing on dual booting?? 


I currently have win7 & ubuntu (the latest version) running on my laptop I fucking love it.

If you are going to duel boot then make sure windows is installed first as the windows installer messes with the boot record and rendering ubuntu useless. I also suggest not partitioning the drive first as you can do this in the ubuntu setup :D.

I am dual booting, and everything is running just fine.  Ubuntu has been easy to handle so far, not very complicated.

But i did run into a proble, when i run EO on wine it's slow as fuuuuck! idk why

Since you are duel booting, I'd suggest just not using Wine for EO XD. Boot into windows since that's what it was designed for.
