Forum :: Lounge :: Holy shit, eoserv.net!

I just copied this page over from the EOHax forums and apparently there's been 140 active users over the last 3 days. Also about to add a messaging/inbox system so people can safely hide their email addresses. Since there's apparently a solid "community" here, does anyone have any other ideas to help promote it (e.g. a little on-site chat feature)?

The website also has a steady growth of visitors (recently: an extra 1,000 unique visitors and 3,000 visits each month) and the posts per month are also increasing steadily (graph), which are already way above last year's average, and above the month EOSERV was actually released and worked on (a very small peak in 2009).

It is worth noting that the number of players on all private servers combined (including the two large non-reporting ones) is currently 156 (which is off-peak, during peak times it reaches well over 200) which is more than the numbers of players on main right now (who are all just bots anyway :P).

;) yaay. But in I bet in March is because of the EO topic, and around now possibly Hollow's Topic. But it's still increasing ! :D

I Think the posts will hit 10kper month, if we get a couple hot topics!

So theoretically there's more people viewing this site than there are playing the actual games. Better update this shit then lawl.

People already do that. They post them in the lounge, but idk if they get deleted or not because I've seen them before. It might be advertising.

Yes! add a chat similar of facebook chat. And if your going to make sure you add a block button, for those annoying spammers.

I'm up for an inbox system as a chat would end up being flooded by idiots asking questions that have been answered in the forums. At least with an inbox feature as you say people can help trough that too. You could also add a feature to the inbox that allows the fix posted to theforums ect. Not the entire message obviously but the one that was helpful :D.

Edit: Could you fix my name Sausage XD. Just plain Desmond or Desmond Taylor :D

I am an alien and not crazy!

I would like to have an inbox and a chat on this site, it would improve the community of eoserv.net, I am pretty sure of that. AND the inbox would be a nice way to help people.

Also, I would like to have signatures back. You could disallow urls, but allow pictures (Sigs?) and a plain text.
