Just wondering.. I havent read all the replys :/ Is it possible to change the software name without making a new software? / is it legal? Because i'd like to change the software name of my ice&fire i have looked for a way recently but you know how it goes =P
I believe its in sln.cpp theres a line thats like ;
?checksoftware=EOSERV
change EOSERV to what ever u want.
Although i wouldn't recommend it, it is after all still sausages's code and software. If you do plan on doing this atleast talk to Sausage about it :P

If you didn't make EOSERV don't claim it as your own. You don't even need to mess with SLN.cpp so just stay out of it.

lol i might change mine from ice & fire but i will ask sausage for permission first. Besides i dont claim it as mine ;P I just change the software name. I got sausage in the credits of my ice & fire and everyone knows its eoserv so basicily i dont claim it for myself XD thanks

I say he should make it check again, else tons of people will just start changing it to whatever they want and a whole bunch of copyright issues come up. ---

Eh, personally I think that if it's a rev of eoserv, you should just call it eoserv and avoid the confusion of renaming the same general software. ---
