There's no restriction on what the software can be. You can change it to whatever. (Even though you shouldn't, Sausage could get pissed.)

I highly doubt he made it himself. Hes violating sausage's LICENSE in the trunk.
And doesn't the SLN turn away any non predefined softwares for example i thought the SLN only let in;
