Its finally getting to be that time when I need to just give in and get me a wireless router. I've been searching around, and doing price checks to
find the best one, but I'm not really sure which one will suit my needs. I really don't want to go over board but I want one that will last me at least 5+ years and be good enough to expand so I wont have to buy a new one 3 years down the line. Heck I am still use'n a blackjack cell phone from
Cingular-pay as you go ftw! And yes I'm cheap.
Well I got it basically narrowed down between a Linksys E2500 for $60 or a E4200 for $140. Both are great wireless routers except the E2500 doesn't have that great of
range. I will be using the router for a couple websites I'll be hosting off my home server, xbox live, internet on this computer, internet on another computer, wifi for 3 phones, and possibly eoserv (about 60 players avg.) I can always move the websites off the home server and buy a
host later on if I needed to.
So which router do you think will be best for me to buy right now? The E2500 or the E4200? And I promise I wont ask how to port forward once I get the router.
