VB was my first language to use, you don't see me using it now. Upgrade kids.

But VB is easy, why over complicate something that can be done simply? :p

Overhead and control. What I dislike about MS languages is that they hide the really cool internal stuff of programming from you in favor of making it simpler (less control). Which is good if you need a quick/easy solution, but not if you want to do any serious development.
