For classes, it depends on what you want. I use mechanic, because it is just beast. If you want to shoot with arrows, Wild hunter in resistance is good. Well every class in resistance is good.

Heres a good tip on classes/servers.

Like Flazex said Scania is a good server to start off with. Since it was the first server ever made it is one of the most populated. Simply meaning, when you start doing party quests and expeditions it will be that much easier to get into groups. You could also try Bera which is the second most populated server.

For Classes don't start off with anything rogue.(Cygnus Knight: Night Walker), Explorer: Rogue, or Explorer: Dual Blade.

Rogues are basically "funded" classes, meaning, if you have a crap load of gold to put into scroll enchants and into hidden potential(Gear with unique stats) items you can make a good character. At end game rogues are pretty good but like I just said, you need to fund them.

As Flazex said, Mechanics are "beast". In Chaos(Most recent) patch all classes were supposed to be balanced but, on my recent mechanic, which I put no gold into, I can still pull atleast 2.5x damage more than other people my level. Downside of Mechanics is you tend to not get parties in Party Vs Party competitions and you get flamed occasionally.

Another good class I would suggest is Explorer>Magician>Cleric>Priest>Bishop. While it is a healing class it does have some pretty pro group buffs and can do lots of damage to Undead and Normal type monsters. The reason I suggest this is because you will not spend money on health potions and the leveling speed of this class is great(Because you get partied a lot.)

Healers are ALWAYS needed in party quests mostly in Pink Bean, Zakum, etc. I would usually start of as warrior. (Don't feel like paying for arrows, bulets, shooting stars.) But if you do do decide to make a healer i can always help you train and stuff.

You should of made a Mechanic. Anyways, once you get to level 8 i believe you have to talk to olaf and he will do the job advancement quest for you. Since you wanna be a healer just pick Magician and then just do as the quest says and go see Gandlof the old or something.

Yeah but max level is 120 on KoC. Explorers are better IMO.

Well I officially have no life and just spent $50 in NX cash for the game. At the time I am posting this the log-in wont work so they are trying to fix it. Anyways though I can give you some gold in game to start out, because we all know how much of a pain it is being a new character.

Its better if you just let him work his way up and gain his own things. All though some tips would hep out, i know when i started i could have used some.
