Re: DDOS attack
One this shouldn't be in Eoserv section
Two get some actual virus protections such as AVG or Norton.
If all else fails pop the CD-Rom/ DvD that came with your computer and wipe your entire computer back to factory settings. (Make sure to put important stuff on a flashdrive if you do this.)

Re: DDOS attack
what does resetting your computer have to do with ddos. ddos is just an attack on your network not your computer

1: why shouldnt it be
2: ddos has nothing to do with a virus

Re: DDOS attack
Redrocco because this does not involve the eoserv program, it involves the computer and the lan/isp.
two: Virus protections do more than protect you from viruses, I have yet to see a virus protection software that DOES NOT alert you about trojans
@ Riddim Simple, if you reset your computer it does not have the network set up to your computer

could try blocking it at your router or in your firewall

Re: DDOS attack
Most attacks are simply DoS attacks. Generally this is one PC spamming your connection from remote location. If this is the case, open a command window and type "netstat -n". This will list the raw IP of the source spammer. The next step is to use a nice firewall to block this address and log
all attempts from this IP to spam you. You may also contact your ISP to monitor your connection for incoming attacks. If you have money to spend, Cisco makes some really nice firewall hardware that can put a serious butt-hurt on any attempts to flood your connection, but the downside is you will
spend more than $1000 on one (haven't checked Ebay for a used, but I wouldn't trust it). Last thing you could possibly do that would be free of charge to you, but extremely time consuming, would be to write your own firewall program.
Nothing is 100% as far as blocking anything on the internet, but you should be able to block most of the attacks you will get by one of the above methods.
