For some reason my server is not showing up on SLN, anyone know why i looked around and only really saw someone say that having a character with bot in its name can kick you kicked out, but none of mine do.

  1. Can people connect to it via your IP.
  2. Have you port-forwarded correctly.
  3. Does your system have a static IP. (It's a pain if this changes because port-forwarding will need re-doing)
If all of the above are true then please post your config in a paste-bin and link us to it.

1 and 2 i have, and earlier i had the server way different with custom maps but now its original EO maps and before it had it working, but now its not. For 3 idk what that even is :p but ill post my config

Sweet thanks so much, and i just have one more question for you. I really suck at creating maps and im just a beginner so i don't know much about it, and when i got these original EO maps it put the starting spawn on the boat where the sheep are out of newb island. How can i change that to newb island?

Oh really would you suggest eoserver? Also my server was up on sln for a few minutes but it went down again. And tyvm for quick responses i only check this about every 10 min so sorry if my responses are kind of late.


But yea, a guy i was originally going to make a server with would not use EOserve he said Seose or he wouldn't do it.

I get updates flash up on my screen so I know when someone posts. yes, EOSERV is harder to setup but there are guides on the wiki so check them out.

Also like i said my server was on sln for like 5 minutes but then i changed the name on it, and it went down, i changed it back and its just not going back up. Do i need someone to be online other than me for it to show?

Lol also how can i have a thing come up when someone posts? XD
