That is what i use and trust me it is slow and laggy for most games. thats why i use my computer, but the internet is very fast and the laptop is small so easy to carry around. If you just want a laptop to go on internet for get it. But for gaming no. I would reccomend to get a desktop instead of a laptop.

its ok for small tasks like everyday surfing the web and other small things but for games or bigger tasks go for a better computer

Trust me, it's much better to just save and get a full blown laptop.

If you have around 2k ($2,000 us) then buy a gaming laptop. You can get a decent desktop that works well for gaming for around 450$ (just tower) So called gaming desktops (which makes me drool a lot.) Run about $1,500 my laptop is about four years old running 2gbs with a Amd 64 athlon x2 processor (1.8ghz) 895mb of graphics. I can pretty much game fine long as it isn't emulating games (some new ds games are laggy with 3D like features). So avoid mini laptops etc. Unless you do business mainly. =P

Here's a tip.

If it's a netbook, it's not going to perform in games.

The reason is in the space constraints. Machines of that small size lack the space needed for a dedicated graphics processor and therefore they usually resort to some kind of on-chipset graphics like the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, which is fine for media and entertainment, but not large 3D games. Even if they could fit a dedicated GPU into a netbook somehow, there would still be no room for heatsinks or cooling systems.

You also need to factor in that netbooks may come in one of two types, the standard x86 architecture (can run a desktop OS like Windows, Mac OS X or Linux) or ARM (more likely to run mobile OSes like Windows CE, Android or iOS), so make sure you know what you're buying beforehand.
