and now I can't turn my computer on anymore it says system 32 is invalid or corrupt. I am on my friends computer right now.

Unplug your computer from the wall. Leave it off for 30 seconds, then take it out into the street and give it to the next person you see. Chances are they won't follow the instructions in that thread next time.

Or, insert system disc. Reinstall operating system. Be prepared to reinstall device drivers and configure settings if need be.

I'm baffled by the stupidity of this forum.. I mean, i knew many of you weren't all to bright, but come on now, why in the hell would you do something that has the topic of:

"...Im trying to write program in C++ that you run and it deletes some major core files in system32..."

Anyways..Easy fix it to put the drive in another computer of the same brand or make as the slave drive and copy system32 from the primary to the windows folder on your slave, then hope to god you aren't using any programs that require addition system files. If you can't do this clean install ofwindows (don't reformat, shrink the partition if at all possible to get back any data you might need). In failing to do this, bash your head against case till it works.

I'm surprised Windows actually let you remove files from a critical area like System32. Please tell me you had to circumvent something to make it work, because if it was as simple as one script...

Depends on the OS version, and if its Vista/7 with UAC off, yeah that script should do it for you.

All that the batch script does is give you read/write rights.. He's the dumb ass that either added /del, ctrl+D, or right click->delete. If he did the third I think i should beat him with a large fish.

Hi. I believe installing Windows (WITHOUT (RE)FORMATTING) should fix your problem. With luck, all your data and files will still be there.

If you teamview with someone and shut the connection without exiting the program they can connect again with permission over screen.

@Plas - Yeah I know that, I am doing it sometime today. Sadly I will not work, because my internet browser's are all deleted to, including way more important stuff then system32 that I will need for shit to function. So I will just be getting a new computer instead of doing all this stuff.
