Greetings once again, EOSERV. First thing's first, been enjoying my time off since I left this place, and the community doesn't seem to be any different since I was last here. Surprised Sausage hasn't appointed someone else to take the top job, but it's his call.
Do we have any writers here? I'm sure there must be a few. Since i've left it's given me time to consider working on my novel once again. It's been in research and planning since 2008, i've been around various regional towns, suburbs and parts of the city researching for settings and inspiration
for storylines. I've read story after story, watched movie after movie to study the key points that make up any good story. Now I want to start writing this thing, and i'm turning it over to many others for ideas and tips to kick this project off the ground.
I've already established it's a "Boy meets Girl" scenario. I'd considered making it romantically centred, then turned it down to hardships and friendships, i'm also toying with the idea of making it some sort of thriller where the characters have some kind of objective, but i'm not sure.
Where do the EOSERV resident writers draw their inspiration from? Do you look to movies or books, real life scenarios or past experiences?
Better yet, if you're working on something or have a great idea you want heard, share it. This is the thread for everyone that puts pen to paper or fingers to keyboard in the hope of making a creative masterpiece (or even just something people enjoy).
