When this whole EO main relaunch happened a couple of months ago, many of us were aware that Plasmastar had access to Vult-r's MSN account "boterkoek@hotmail.com" since mid-December of 2010. This caused a bit of false hope for many, and also
granted Elevations the chance to make this look like one big scam to take the heat off of Fallen Evolution for snatching up various accounts and access user emails (yes, he probably got in your inbox and read your dirty smut). However, there has been only one person other than
Plasmastar that has had constant contact with Vult-r... Arvid. So let me start there:
#1 (March 21, 2011) Arvid confirmed this IS legit, and it IS Vult-r. While he does communicate via Vult-r's old Yahoo address, Rexor and I in a group chat with Arvid asked how he could be sure it was really Vult-r, his reply was "Well there is much that Vult-r knows that
Plasmastar would not" and also assured me that "in the end only he (Vult-r) can call and reset the server or shut it down properly". - Quotations are dialog directly from Arvid via group chat that included myself and Rexor.
#2 EO main is a stable server code, it has not crashed to my knowledge unlike EOSERV.
#3 EO main drop rates are much lower than the ones that everyone used based on the drops.ini I released circa mid 2009. The data was based on information given to me by Vult-r via a server generated list which I estimated based on the data. The list given to me by Vult-r in
its original form can be found here: http://www.endless-edge.com/itemlst.txt (generated March 7, 2009).
#4 No build of EOSERV is close enough to run a main duplicate. Even my build bypasses the skillmaster's request for naked stat resets. Other differences such as this should be apparent.
#5 To my knowledge, no private server emulates the NPC A.I. properly. For an example of this, try to get the Hell Guardians in Apozen's lair to remain at the map exit on any private server... they always return to the center, but they stay at the exit only on EO main.
#6 EO main has a weird bonus system in place for HP and TP depending on class. The bonus begins at level 10 and every 5 levels thereafter. This is most noticable with a Rogue class's HP or either Magician or Priest's TP.
#7 If this was actually Plasmastar, he would be an admin and using $w and trolling everyone with neener neener, I has wings.
#8 If the original EO main database was not still in place, about a million+ account/character names would be available. Not possible to fudge that one.
#9 There is no "admin panel" as suggested. Vult-r controlled pretty much everything (notice announcements only came from Vult-r?). Vult-r left nothing for an admin that left to screw with his game's services. This might happen on FE, not on EO main.
#10 EO main wasn't hacked. If it was, Vult-r would have recovered it relatively quickly, along with the many other domains he runs. In other words, use your fucking brain! Hacking a site is one thing, but it isn't going to remain hacked very long before it is recovered,
and damn sure not 2 months.
At first, I wasn't convinced that any of this was legit... but the facts are on the table. I run a server with more players than the crybaby on FE and it they return to EO main then so be it. The whole point was to emulate the original, not to take it over like it was mine. If this is not enough
to convince the uncertain, then just shut the hell up about it and forget EO main existed. No one cares if you believe it or not, but it is the damn truth. As far as Sausage's statistical information, he is collecting player data for ranking and item drop statistics that are far more accurate than
mine. So there's the truth. Elevations, if you have any real "facts", then by all means post them on your Big Boy website next to that hamburger you hold up so proudly.
