I get this message when i try to upload my new avatar:

Invalid file type
Please try again with a .jpg, .png or .gif file.

The picture is .PNG and it even says it right there but it wont work! I made sure the demensions werent too much and it is less then 30 KB or w.e. WHAT DO I DO DANGIT!

Just to ensure that it is a .png, open it up in whatever art program you have, save-as to .png, then go to an image uploading site and upload it as a .png as well. Then use that image.
