Post #75058 EO Map Editor 0.3.0

Updated EOMap with the latest hacked-on features. Check the downloads section etc.

  • Shadow and Overlay2 support
  • Slightly smarter "Special" layer rendering
  • Map properties/renaming/resizing
  • Hacked-on chest spawn editor, sign editor, icon and popup specials by Bart (kenobi13)
  • Hacked-on NPC spawn editor to match the chest editor
  • A few odd bugs cleared up (save before save as, 100x100+ coordinate display, invalid CRC generation)
  • Counts the numbers of tiles in the egf file when loading

Love the npc spawn and item spawn.

Going delete old map editor and use this one

I really like it it does all the things i need it to but i dont like the way you have to put in npcs.

That's actually the first thing I plan on replacing in 0.3.1, but the NPC editor will have to stay as a backup because there's a lot of places where NPC spawns are stacked up.

I think the npc editor should be like the one in Eomap 0.3.5 r8 or somthing close to it.

thanks, this fixes the problem I was having with rena's editor breaking the map where I couldn't load it back into yours after using renas to place a npc

I kinda like this more just because you have to have the pub files in the EO 3.5r8 but i do like that you can see the npc gfx there in it.

Seems It doesn't seem to want to work on my computer, I've used MapEditors on older computers..


Here are specs on my computer, Could someone(s) tell me what's wrong here.. e.e

Windows XP Professional

Service Pack 3

AMD  Sempron(tm) Processor

(3200+)

1.80GHz, 1GB of Ram

Since I don't do anything with Endless Online but thought I'd at least test this out it works perfectly on my system.

Windows 7 Ultimate
CPU 2.20 GHz
RAM 3 GB
32 Bit


Note to others,
Must have Graphics drivers installed (Update if there is a new version).
