Well you know what really pisses me off?? People who think they are cool just because they can crash a server. Post your thoughts.

there's not much to xay about DDoS'ers besides the fact that mostof them are little creepy hacking kids, who think its cool to ruin the game for hundreds of others.

ONLY DDOS'ING SOMETHING ISN'T CRASHING IT. SERVERS DON'T GENERALLY CRASH DUE TO BANDWIDTH USAGE.
SECONDLY, SCRIPT KIDDIES RARELY "HACK" ANYTHING AND CAN FOR THE MOST PART, BE EASILY IGNORED.

It's stupid of you to advertise in SLN and complain about getting crashed. If you don't want your server to crash because of "hackers", don't put your server on it.

Im not saying I'm getting crash it just pisses me of that people think they are cool because they can crash a server.

I agree with you, but I also agree with the rest of the people. I could get angry at someone for crashing my server, but what can I do? It's not like I can find out their address, then go and beat them up. ---

For what it's worth, that's not the definition.

Hacking exploits are usually planned attacks exploiting a vulnerability in a piece of software or a security system, used to cause damage or access data in areas that would normally require authorisation to access. Denial of Service attacks are brute force attacks, the digital equivalent of a
shop ram-raid. They show no skill on the part of the attacker.
GabrielGonza, what has EOSERV come to when users can no longer advertise their server on the SLN without running the risk of being shut down by attackers? Most online games with private servers have Server Lists and they don't experience this problem anywhere near as much as we do.
I believe it stems from the fact that the Endless Online community is general is jealous, aggressive, vengeful (even unprovoked) and just outright fucking stupid. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to set up an Endless Online private server, the few who do must have some serious tolerance,
because personally i'd be finding a much better game (so any game will do) and running a private server of that considering the past history of abuse here involving EOSERV and the SLN. There's zero point offering a service for people that mostly won't appreciate it.

do yall have the restart.bat file. if you use the restart one it restart auto when it crashes i think it works when others try to crash you.

I don't/wouldn't crash servers. I'm just stating that they're running the risk of being crashed. If I had one, I'd advertise some place else.
@sblord I agree, but there has been some problems caused by people DDoS'ing other servers. From fights to threatening to go to court.
