Re: Can't connect to EO main.
So main is the only server you can't connect to? Can you connect to other servers?

If your not smart enough to understand I'm trying to help you then I could care less. I'll help people more respectful/ deserving. You have to rule out possibilities, to get answers...
You are asking me if I am smart enough to understand. Lol, don't try and troll me kid.
I'm here looking for help, and I know I'm not visibly banned. It is very very possible to block a computer from connecting, without the person receiving a ban message.
If you have some sort of method in fixing this, then please share it.
It is not possible since there is no new client (v29 or greater) supporting it. You never was banned so quit saying you could of been.
You are incorrect sir. There would not have to be a new client, or a v29 to add a silent ban to the server coding. You don't even have to say it is a ban, but just simply not allowing the HDID to connect.
You need to check your facts.
And for god sakes, I'll say it one more time:
DO NOT POST UNLESS YOU HAVE A METHOD OF FIXING THIS.
Okay make this almighty silent ban code and ban me so it doesn't show an account locked nor banned message.
Enlighten me since you think you know how everything works but yet can't even connect to a server, NOR even tried a proxy yet OR a different computer (On the same network and one off the original network) Rofl
Actually it would be possible to do, but then it would affect all other banned players as well. Unless you had a separate database column for "silentban" or something that clearly defined which different bans there were. So it would be roughly equal to simply changing
thebandeclarationtosendingan unable to connect message instead of the ban message. A simple packet change will do that, because all client messages are stored in the .dat files.
We're talking about Vult here...
(He wouldn't care enough to make such a feature)
I do agree with you on that one.
Soul, just because it can be done, doesn't mean it has been. Also, fun fact, Vult-r has never once made use of a permanent IP ban. Ever. Why would he start now? Isn't it a bit late?
No one is understanding me. I am just saying it's a possibility.
I am not saying YES IT HAPPPENDZ ZOMG.
@shayne: Yes, I can connect to any other server.

If you can connect to other servers that are on port 8078, then try to port-forward port 8079. Maybe your anti-virus is blocking it if not your firewall?

I realize that. I just don't understand why you would be the first in all of EO history to have this happen to.

Times are obviously changing in the world of EO.
Yes I can connect to any server, except for Main.
I am also able to run my EOserv online.

Re: Can't connect to EO main.
Well if you can connect to other private servers which were most likely all on port 8078, sounds like port 8079 is being blocked somehow. It might be your antivirus, but you should try to port-forward port 8079. I'm guessing you port-forwarded 8078 since you have a server.

Re: Can't connect to EO main.
I was thinking of that, but figured I wouldn't need to do it, since it was never a problem before.
But I will try it. I'll give you feedback in a min.

Ok. If you can connect to port 8078 and it's port-forwarded, but you can't connect to 8079 and it isn't port-forwarded that may be the problem. You should try to connect to one of the private servers on port 8079 to find out if it's just main, or all servers with port 8079 also.

Re: Can't connect to EO main.
I port forwarded port 8079. Still can't connect. I'll try to find a 8079 port server.
Edit: I am able to connect to taffy-kingdom.no-ip.org port: 8079 on the sln.
Now the question is. Why is the server blocking me? :3

Are you sure your typing the right ip into the econfig? Maybe you should try to delete endless online, and re download it, if you haven't already, even though it probably wouldn't matter.

Re: Can't connect to EO main.
You don't need to port forward something you connect to. That's like saying you need to port forward 80 to use the internet, or 21 to use FTP, etc.

Re: Can't connect to EO main.
@shayne: I have done all of that. I swear to god. I've tried almost everything (if not everything :p).
This was my past conclusion and it remains the same.
The server is blocking me from connecting.

I'm not a professional here syran, I'm simply trying to help out someone and come up with possibilities to why this might be happening. I'm just trying to rule out possibilities and see if we can find the reason why. No one else is helping so I'm attempting to help. You connect to that port,
soifsomething is blocking it somehow to access that port you would have to port-forward it.
So how wouldn't port-forwarding be a possibility if something is blocking that port.
Edit:I'll try to think of more reasons, I'm just going by my own knowledge here.
Are you 100% sure your even typing in the right ip to econfig?

Re: Can't connect to EO main.
So is that all the ideas you got?
It sounds like the game server is blocking me from connecting. Right?..
This is what I have been saying from the start.
Edit: Yes, the config pad is what I used to connect to taffy's server port 8079.

I'm not going off topic. Every comment I've made here was to try and help you and was on topic. It's sort of annoying you say I'm going off topic yet Iv'e been trying to help you for the last 30mins-1hr. Anyways I'll try to think of other possibilities.
I meant did you type in the right ip for main ?
Maybe your firewall or anti virus is blocking main then. The only two reasons I think there are, are that you were banned( 99% unlikely), or your anti virus or firewall is blocking main. What you should do, is keep messing around with your modem and router. First disconnect your router and your
modem for one minute. Then plug in only your modem to your computer. Then disconnect your modem from your computer, and plug in your router, followed by your modem. Then if that doesn't work, connect your modem.
