Also, I have been reading this update about the entire account database being lost, with everyone having to registrate again.
Personally (I cant confirm this because I don't keep in touch with Vult-r anymore) is that this is very unlikely to happen. VULT-R ALWAYS KEPT BACKUPS. Remember the rollbacks? It's up to you to register a new account or not, but just to be sure, I'd use a new and different password
fromyour usual one, and be careful with entering your real email address.
Just my 5 cents.
Nice to have another ex-admins support :] Endless Edge is personally my favourite server, there are a few other major servers that are worth a look. Some with rather nice artwork :P I have to say I believe this new "main" server is the real deal. A client I have been developing(EoDev) can't connect
to the main server, it gets as far as logins. On private servers however it connects fine. This is because the main server had much more security as opposed to private servers + My client was based off eoserv. Although all we can do right now is merely speculate eh? :p ---
Hmm.

Re: Updates from an ex-developer/admin
I'm sorry to say, I am currently not in the position to make work for anyone. I barely have enough time to make enough for my own project! Also, I don't use msn all that often, except for relatives etc. So I won't be able to add people there.
Everyone, keep up the good work with developing products, and don't be afraid to dream big...just remember to start small and work up from there. :)

So if you are dutch then get rexor on here to prove you are mizzy.
I'll even try myself to get rexor on here as a friend of mine should have contact with him.
But to come on and randomly say you're mizzy is kinda werid. don't you think?
Kinda ermm not easy to believe

Yeah, that's like a person coming on here and claiming to be themselves.. That's not how it works, is it? I'm not Matt D:
Why does it take so much to believe that they are who they are? All she did was come here and say they like how this place is keeping EO alive, and to show what she's been up to. Does that really need interrogation? Its not like their going "Hey, I'm glad to see this community, I'll take to
Vultabout putting EO back up for $50 harharhar". Remove you're tinfoil hats, aliens aren't coming for you.
Ontopic - Its nice to see you stop in and say hi, I'll be sure to try your game once its out.

She doesn't care if you believe her or not. Lern2read. I wouldn't even go through that much trouble just to prove to you that it is me. Accept that it's her, or believe that it isn't, it's your opinion.

Hello Miss Mizzy!
Quite the fan, i am, i am!
You had asked if anyone has been inspired to make a game because of eo? Well indeed we have! A small project of mine and Deathx's (Exile) is currently being worked on and should be released coming up this May! You're always welcome to drop by if you like. It will be highly reminiscent of EO in
game play and styling, with some differences that are obscenely obvious. I'd love to hear your opinions on it when it does finally come out.
You're welcome to add me to messenger, i know you said you do not use it often, but that is always a good way to find me if you're interested. If not, just know we are all inspired!
Also, (Directed to everyone else) Is it bad of me to have seen the troll NPC and thought of elevations without even a half second's delay?

Last effort to try and convince people, I posted a journal of you guys and your great work on my 7 year old deviantart page. I guess you could say I hacked it...but whatever. xD

Anyway, I reply to Gabriel, did you know EndlessOnline was based on Dark Ages? http://www.darkages.com/
You can still play that game, especially the graphics and the playstyle are very similar to EO. Dark Ages was where all 4 of us original developers met. Vult was already working on a very early EO back then, which consisted of little more than a grass plain on which naked avatars walked. I'll
try and see if I have screenshots of those early versions.
I'm sorry to say I don't know what elevations is, but I'd love to know more!
Also, Gabriel, I'd love to see your game and try it out. As said before, I don't have the time to help out or become an active member, but I don't mind giving my opinion if you need it.

Some old version of borland C++ builder if you mean EO. And BCD tools I think.

Indeed i did know this! i was introduced to both of them through my friend, but really only stuck to playing EO.
As for the game, i'll let you know via Deviantart when/where it is ready, as (a) i don't forsee you checking in here quite often and (b) it's against the rules to advertise on this forums
