first of all i have to say that things do not look good from the outside but could be diffrent thats why im here to ask

why do people keep fighting and leaving?

i already seen people saying its just people being dicks and imature and stuff. i mean theres got to be better reasons.

where is this all going? eoserv has been fun but seems like slow and all good projects dying. does it still get worked on and is it gonna get any better or just people playing with stuff? 

most stuff i see is just people fighting but it looks funny sorry if this is breaking the rules ok

I totally agree. Everyone is crashing servers because: "they have more players" And i dont like them so i crash their serv -yay- <_< e.e And yeah.. Everyone is just playing around with eoserv. There arent very serious servers, projects ect lately.

It was all alright before people came here that basically think they can run a server. But all they do is crying about their errors and shit like that. I'm not saying that I'm all pro, but if you go back in time, I only asked for stuff 2-3 times. You don't learn if you let other do your work. If you're not willing to put a little bit of effort into your own server, than you may not even call it your own. People are selfish here, I used to help alot but all people care for is if the code works or not. So I don't bother helping those people. And yes, that kinda frustrates me after a while, I've been here for a few years, and I basically have seen EOSERV getting "big", I still laugh at those that go like; Who the fuck are you?

i believe the reason is that anyone is hiding behind his anonymity. None know who is behind each post, all they can see is a nick name. So people can become rude and fighting without care so much. I think most people on their real lifes, are much better than on internet. And i dont mean only here on Eoserv, i mean everywhere. Here there is a reason for all these fightings. So many and diferend opinions, from so many countries and ages. And people that run or play on competitive servers, which they shouldnt be competitive but they are. So in my opinion is kinda justified. Offcourse i dont mean that younger people here are worst than older. Age some times has nothing to do with the behavour of the person. And its sad to see good persons leaving the forum. But thats life.

i dont get it so your saying nobody is good enough to code a server

daytaro thats funny but makes sense ha ha

some people could be much worse offline than online though not really what im looking for

I'm not good at adding codes, or compiling. I try and try, and read topics about it, but I always fail.

Sorry for being lazy, but being able to download a working EOserv with some cool features is alot of bullshit out of my way.
My hobby is creating epic maps. Not server building :/



On another note: Ananas has been here for a long long time, no one should be asking him who he is :P

Hey, I'm not calling people lazy. Some people learn faster than others. I'm just saying the way people threat you once you helped them. If you help them it's all like thank you etc, but once you're not bothered to help because a family member died, they show no respect, all you get is a "Fuck you!". Well, If thats the way it goes, than I'm not acting nice anymore either.

Im a pretty good friend of ananas. When i first started with coding I always asked him to help me. But he almost blocked me on msn because i asked him soo much. Than i learned some coding myself and stopped begging for codes at other people. Im not saying that im now a good coder. (Imstilllearning) But you reach more if you do stuff yourself and stop begging at other people. That's called "experience" (I think) :o

You mentioned that you might post a link to your latest compile, and if I was going to use that, you would have full credit on my website is what I was thinking when I read that. I appreciate people that try to help other people, even though they don't have to.

I'm trying to make an Online Adventure Game (serious server :P), but I haven't been able to find someone good at compiling/coding.
I've been making maps for the past few days, and they are looking great. I'm trying to make a game where you actually complete quests, and you can't just beat the game in a couple days lol. Apozen's Castle Online is in development.
