I'm tired of loading up websites for private servers and being subjected to horrible music. I instantly close the tab. I'm no longer interested in anything else you have to offer. If you want music on your site make it optional. Especially if you're looking to recruit players to yourserver from sources outside these forums(i.e. random googler). If you don't believe this'll drive people away then google "ten annoying website design mistakes". There are thousands of results that all say the same thing for a reason(i.e. people hate it).  In fact, it's number one on almost every single list. It's not snazzy and doesn't catch positive attention. Maybe it this was 1998 on AOL people wouldn't mind it. It's not, thank god.

Now not everyone will agree with this and that's fair. It's your site, not mine. But... If you're in that crowd would you at least consider lowering the volume? 

That used to annoy the crap out of me too till I decided speakers are over rated xD
