| ![]() Hi. Today, I'm going to teach you how to change your GFXs using ResHacker. Many are asking how, that's why I've made a guide. Things you need: 1. Brain 2. ResHacker ( download here) Part 1: Extracting 1. Extract Reshack. Does not matter anywhere. 2. Open Reshack. Part 2: Opening and Replacing 1. Click file from the Menu bar. 2. Choose Open. 3. Now, locate your GFXs files in your EO folder. 4. Click All files from files of type drop box. 5. Now, choose the GFX file you want to access. GFX List: 001-002 GUI 003-007 Map Files (tiles, walls, objects, etc.) 008 Skin 009-010 Hair 011-012 Boots 013-014 Armor/ Clothes 015-016 Hats 017-018 Weapons 019-020 Shields/Arrows/Wings 021 NPCs 022 Shadows 023 Inventory and Drop view of Items 024 Skills 025 Skill Icons 6. Once you choose what GFX, click View from the menu bar and then expand tree. 7. Browse through the files on the bitmap section until you find what file you want to replace. 8. Right click the Resource file (the file you chose) then choose replace resource. 9. Click open file with new bitmap and browse for your .BMP file that you want to be in the game.
Things to remember: 1. Save files in .BMP. these are the only files you can use with EO. 2. Always save. 3. When replacing an armor, a weapon, a hat, etc., make sure you replace all frames. 4. When you edit an item, make sure you also replace the inventory view or drop view of it. Ex. I want to replace baru with a custom item. I already replaced the armor frames, now I should go to GFX023 and look for the baru picture and replace the drop and inventory view. 5. There should be a backup file when you save called for example, GFX001_original (if you edited this one). Delete this if you want but it does not cause any error. That is all. I hope you can now replace using Reshacker! Happy Client Editing!
