You guys don't get it. The iPad is an excellent device.
Think about it for a moment. Remade game client. Ported to the iPad and iPhone. Sold for $3.99 on the App Store. 40,000 copies sold.
$159,600.
Now tell me the iPad isn't good for anything.

Most cell phones can do that anyway though and they're more affordable xP
As for making a game client for Ipad.. I think it'd be too annoying trying to navigate and such.. I wouldn't pay for something i'll just rage at after 5 minutes anywho :P Better to stick with the good old Lappy or pc.

Not if you redesigned the user interface. You can't just verbatim copy and paste the game client on to a new piece of hardware and expect it to be intuitive.

The ipad is a pointless device. To me its simply an oversized ipod touch. And a very awkward size at that.

As a distributor of iPads by trade... I love my MacBook.
I do believe that iPads can be profitable though. If you can make money off something, it's alright in my book.
I just personally wouldn't buy one. I mean sure when I used one it was a decent experience and I liked the way it worked, but as someone that types a hell of a lot, runs a lot of non-standard software and components and of course likes to mess around with everything and everything under the hood
of an operating system and the computer it runs on... I can see it becoming fairly old fairly quickly in my case, and in the case of just about everyone on this forum.
