Forum :: Lounge :: Anyone else feel bad for Vult-R?

All of his hard work has been taken and emulated giving little credit. Vult even visited Endless Edge. He didn't care. He could have done something, but he didn't. He is a nice guy. I met him like 7 years ago when EO was the only "EO" around... A fun updated packed game. Now, his main server is dead! All that's left is a bunch of copies of his hard work!

But the good thing, if we didn't have Eoserv now, we wouldn't have ANY Endless Online left.

I do understand, and feel a bit bad for em. I only make servers for EO to keep his work going. I do hope main EO comes back. I would prefer the original, then servers. 

I also miss the original feeling of playing games like Endless online, Gnzu... But I just don't get that feeling anymore... Maybe because none of my friends know I play RPGs and I don't really wanna tell them. :p

Their is no classic in these servers. There is always overpowered items and uber lag, attackers on the servers, etc. Like swagkid said, rather eo main then these privte servers.

First of all, who cares if your friends know you play a computer game. It's not like it makes you a "nerd" which is the only reason you would be concerned about your friends knowing. Everyone has different interests, and if your friends care that much their not really good friends. Why would you feel bad for vult? He pretty much ditched us, and gave up on something alot of people liked to play. Where pretty much just picking up from where Vult left off.

Kayleigh- Yes alot of servers have over powered items, insanely fast leveling, and ass whole admins (for the most part). That will change though, I can guarantee it :P

I honestly couldn't give a shit about carrying on vult-r's work, I just find this a good thing to gain general computer experience with, as I've learned very much in the past few years. As such I'm not spamming my server everywhere, or trying to tread on anybody else, I'm just doing my thing. No I don't feel bad.

want to make $$ out of it..

I hope EOSERV will keep improving so it would be possible to create good new EO-private. For ex. Apollo's vodka is awesome and would really create nice game if well planned. Good GMs, scripters, pixel artists.. maybe I'm just naive..

EDIT: I appreciate Vult-r for his hard work, but I don't feel sorry for continuing to improve Endless Online. All we need is good host, admins etc. to re-make enjoyable game.

The only upside to EO being revived would be client side changes he could make, its the only thing stopping EOserv from really being something, noone can really do any significant changes.

I don't really feel sorry for vult-r at all, he had EO up for quite a few years.
