Overall, it ruins the point entirely.  You might as well start autoing again.

If you can't fix the hack then why not have people to catch the hackers?

He said it's because of a new database addon that allows the Staff Page to updated automatically via packets sent from the game.  It only says apply because no one is set to appear on it yet.  And even if it says apply, which makes no sense, Plasmastar says he isn't hiring anyone. _Fail

In-case you didn't read my edit, I wouldn't jail anyone if I were you, because there's a glitch where it's possible to escape Jail. I'd just wall the player in Maze in a section where no-one can view the character, therefore making it impossible to party or trade.

Yeah.. but i won't choose elevations for example. Knowledge about the game is not everything. IF i had to choose the new owner of Endless Online i didnt choose someone that knew alot about the game ect. I'd chose someone thatknowsalotofthe game AND has respect for other people. And someone that doesnt get mad if someone begs. Or someone that complains all the time when someone gives his opinion..

That doesnt even sound so bad. But you wont be able to catch them all. The only way is to fix speed.

I know. But instead of delaying official launch  some more by fixing speed, hire a few mods to take care of speeders, and like every 15-30mins they announce: "@Remember to report ANY speeders you see to make the game more fair & enjoyable!" or "Remember, we will be warping to you when you least expect it, so if you're speeding, you WILL be caught"

They should. If Vult can't or won't fix speed, at least like 2 or 3 mods to punish them wouldn't be too bad.

That doesnt even sound so bad. But you wont be able to catch them all. The only way is to fix speed.

I know. But instead of delaying official launch  some more by fixing speed, hire a few mods to take care of speeders, and like every 15-30mins they announce: "@Remember to report ANY speeders you see to make the game more fair & enjoyable!" or "Remember, we will be warping to you when youleast expect it, so if you're speeding, you WILL be caught"

Mhm. That isnt a bad idea :)

Personally if I was admin, I'd warn the person who's begging/asking for free stuff to lay it off and calmly explain the consequences and if he/she keeps begging mute then wall. If the person relogs to evade mute I'd auto wall them.

@Xsitsu I'm not saying jail, because it's escapeable via a glitch. Walling > Jailing.

If I were to wall I'd choose the part in Maze where it's unreacheable/un-viewable by other players.

Nahz. Still escapeable. I'd rather just to $warp <playername> 45 0 0

But EO has more bugs than it had before. Some of them that i found out in 5min:

1. Account creation. What is the bug? If you type 2 times an existing name you d/c.
2. If you earn money with a quest you must drop it / relog first before you can buy something.
3. If you click on a board it doesnt say tutorial but turorial.
4. At the funky hair dude quest it says: Go collect 5 blob slimes. but than it says: 0/3.
5. There is still speed + alot of lagg..

My conclusion: EO is even more unstable than it was first.
