You're right. He just never fixed them.
Look at speeding, he sure fixed that well.
I'm sure if he did try though, he could've fixed the anti-speeding system he had, he was just lazy.

I'm pretty sure everyone here (most) have changed their opinions back and forth. First everyone says "it's coming back!" Then everyone says "It's a joke!" This is repeated far too much. Every time their is the -slightest- bit of proof of something the majority of you are totally convinced. I don't care, I'm just saying believe it as much as you don't believe it and wait too see. Your just getting up your hopes by believing whatever you hear. :p

i just dont get why would plasmastar do that, doesn't he own EOR [endlessonline remake]

-why doesn't he host that one, if he didn't refuse creation and have admins that ban so much, he would have a good server like EO

quote="Sausage"]Here's the only thing you EO conspiricists need to read.
                                                   (aka Elefag and WickedFrost)

Hey! I bet ya heard some things about EO coming back online.
"What? Impossible! It's been down a whole 2 months!"
"It can't possibly be Vult-r! Someone must be scamming me."

I'm here to explain to you, in simple language so people like WicketFrost can
understand, why noone is trying to scam you.

BULLSHIT 1:  It isn't Vult-r posting those announcements!

I have seen the chat logs of Plasmastar sucking up Vult-r's ass with my own
eyes and I can vouch with pretty good confidence that it's him. Plasmastar did
not forge a 4 hour chat log just to convince the 1 person he sent it to (me).

If it's NOT Vult-r, by some off chance, then it's someone with access to his
  IM accounts, original EO webserver, the EO server software and the EO domains;
as well as purchasing a VPS to run this imaginary "scam". For more info on why
this would make no sense, see BULLSHIT 4.

BULLSHIT 2:  The domain expired and someone re-registered it!

I don't have EO's domain expiry info memorized, but I'm pretty sure that it's
simply set to the day/month that he transferred it to some domain cloaking
company in preperation for re-setting up EO.

Even if someone did hijack the domain, the actual address that
endless-online.com is pointing too hasn't changed. The website is still the
  original EO website.

BULLSHIT 3:  The new client contains trojans

This is exactly the same client that was hosted there for the last 3-4 years.

Most anti-viruses are utterly useless pieces of shit that will throw up
false positives all over the place (a known problem with EOIRC for a while).

BULLSHIT 4:  They are running a fake server to phish my password!

See BULLSHIT 1 for info, but we assume whoever is able to set up this server
already has a complete copy of the EO database. This can be seen by the number
of reported characters in the database (and a correct sample of the first 100
characters in the database based on a small bit of knowledge only I had).

Now, as they have a full copy of the database, why would anyone need to run a
fake server to phish passwords? The answer is: They don't.

**** THE EO SERVER STORES YOUR PASSWORDS ****

That is a crucual point here. Anyone who is able to set this server up must
have a copy of the database already. If they already have the database then
they already have all of your passwords. There is no need to steal them again.

BULLSHIT 5:  The EOHax people are behind this!

I have just as little clue to what's going on each step of the way as you do.
Plasmastar is the guy Vult-r is talking to, obviously oblivious to the fact
Plasmastar sucks cocks, and we can only extract facts from him.

Just because I happen to not be a half-wit who is actually able to deduce the
plain and simple truth I can't be bothered to finish this sentence.

"Wow, Sausage, I understand everything now! I was a complete idiot for throwing
a bunch of bullshit around with your name attatched to the end" -- W. K. Frost

ADDENDUM:  WHY THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING

EO is a piece of shit. Vultard has no intentions of making it better. EO
coming online will detract attention from private servers which are, in the
case of EE, effectively attempts at creating .29 and beyond. The only way this
can become a good thing is if Vultard gives control to someone who is capable
of fixing and improving EO, instead of wasting money running a dead-end game.

Of course, being that Vult-r is stupid enough to think Plasmastar is a
trustworthy EO player, I can't be bothered to finish this sentence.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to someone rant about a matter you
didn't give a shit about in the first place, and especially the people who
scrolled to the bottom for the tl;dr. You are the true heroes.

I hate you all.

 :kingluke:

I am so. Fucking. Trolled.

If you wish to dispute things such as the EO database storing your passwords effectively in plaintext then I'll be glad to help convince you.[/quote]

It doesn't surprise me really.

Bullshit #1 - The website is a mirror made to look like the original. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Bullshit #2 - The actual address that the url is pointing to is different. It is not the same web host.

Bullshit #3 - Everyone above the age of 15 knows that the client is fine. But to keep young kids from giving you control of their accounts we fibbed a little bit. Caution is never a bad thing online and folks should scan their software regularly. ALSO - it would take you all of 3 seconds to switch the download link at any time. Just because you didn't catch AIDS the first time doesn't mean leave the rubber off the second time.

Bullshit #4 - There's no proof anyone has a full database. All the website has is a list of 100 players and a 100 guilds. Even though the server is reporting no guilds formed. Nice try though.

Bullshit #5 - You're fishing for passwords and e-mail addresses. It's pretty obvious

Sausage:

> The actual address that the url is pointing to is different. It is not the same web host.
Hmm, apparently this is true. I'm not sure of when it switched over, but I've heard that many of Vult's other websites are hosted on the same server, and the hostname still seems very familiar to me...

> There's no proof anyone has a full database.
No, but I know for SURE that badger was the (or one of the) first accounts in the database when Vult-r had some SQL injectionz issues. I can't find anything in any chat logs about it, though.

> You're fishing for passwords and e-mail addresses. It's pretty obvious.
I don't want your fucking passwords, rofl. What good is your EO password if I'm already running the whole server? Like half of EO plays private servers anyway, so I could just quickly backdoor that shit if I was still 16, not spend days cloning the main server.

And, again, if EO ever comes back online with people's character names available to them, that proves that whoever's setting the server up has a copy of the database, and therefore already has your precious passwords.

It's called identity theft and taking over people's bank accounts.

if anyone uses the same pass on there eo as there bank.. let alone use the same email address as the on on there paypal/bank account... they are DUMB.

I mean the history of eohax and ppl stealing accounts and msn accounts should be enough to make sure you don't use the same info.. I remember the one time I screwed up and used the info for my (eo)Hotmail as a password for an account I shared with some one... never again will that happen.Learnfromthe mistakes of others, always use a separate email for your online games.

SO WHAT I TRIED TO POST THE OTHER TWO TIMES AND IT WOULDN'T LET ME ... WAS

I was bored had zonealarm ForceField on and went to
game.endless-online.com/server.html and this is what it warned me which I found interesting:
And then I went then I went to the other one which was endless-online.com/server.html and it showed this:

The rest of the site showed the same info as this one... well opinions?

Vult-r supposedly got different and cheaper hosting which can very well be located in another country and earlier in this forum people have said that the new site was located in Germany, this is old news. As for the spam block lists I don't know but I guess it may have something to do with elevations or wickedfrost. I'm not sure though but if I were to put my money on it (which isn't much) I'd put it on them.

And this is what I get when I use game.endless-online.com/server.html (again, notice the drop-down menu)

I can almost guarantee that it was one of them. Anti-Virus suites give you an option to report "bad" sites. And assuming WickedFrost is using Norton ("LOL, VIRUS IN EO SETUP"), I might go ahead and say it was Elevations. He seems more malicious anyhow and it does look like his usual brand of stupidity. "BUT IT'S HOSTED IN GERMANY. BAD COUNTRY. LOL"
