With the intensive new graphics style used, they would seriously need to upgrade the rendering techniques for the graphics plugins for the GBA/DS emulators. Last I checked, they couldn't even run diamond/pearl.

DeSmuME 0.9.6 x86 seems to work perfectly fine for me. Also Action Replay cheats work with DeSmuME too. If anyone does decide to use it here's the few cheats i use to make it amusing otherwise its not worth playing imo xD. Oh also its pokemon white that im playing, so im not sure if those action replay cheats work on the black one or not.

Whenever I used that Desmune crap Pokemon would always go slow. Walk slow, battle slow, etc. Got sick of it in the end, glad whatshisname posted that VBA, works better than desmune.

So I have white I was just about to beat it when my wife beat black so she got all our pokes from pokemon soul silver. I decided to start over just so I could start with my low level todadile >:D And togapi and and and pidgey and pichu!!!! D: lol I just love 1st and 2nd gen pokes so much more then these new ones lol.

I actually really honestly wasn't all that impressed with Black/White. I hated the fact that once you "beat" the game (the main story line), that everything was pretty much over. The perspective and graphics and new features are nice and all but I would prefer more content wise. At least in other games like Crystal, you'd travel back to Kanto, or in FireRed/LeafGreen you'd go to the numbered islands. I honestly found myself bored after I beat the game so I just restarted it and decided to play again. I mean I guess you could go after the sages, but it doesn't really do anything significant,or make any progression.

In my opinion it seems like they increased the catching rares comparative to other Pokemon games. It is much much easier to catch not only legendary Pokemon but regular ones as well which I severely dislike because it takes the challenge out of it. It even forces you to catch Reshiram/Zekrom.And the master ball is rendered useless because the legendaries are easy to catch, except for the one Pokemon that actually runs around in the grass, I forget what it's called but it changes weather and looks like a creepy old man.

Oh and, I don't know what it is but I always find the Pokemon story lines to be really moving, and actually get feelings out of me. Like with Platinum I felt sad when progressing with Giratina. I loved the pun-filled Pokemon names as per usual, it might be just me but maybe they're running out of ideas for new Pokemon. Some look interestingly too much like redone copies of old Pokemon, and sorry but some are just plain stupid. (ie. Vanillish)

Anyways, that's just my opinion. My favourite Pokemon game by far was Crystal.
